400 teachers hit by food poisoning

BATANGAS, Philippines – Around 400 teachers suffered from food poisoning in San Jose, Batangas.The teachers all came from a seminar in San Jose and were served adobo, believed to be the cause of the poisoning.
The contaminated food was served by a catering service owned by Louie Viceral.
Viceral said, in his 20 years in the catering industry, this is the first time an incident like this happened.
“Hindi naman natin gusto ang nangyari. Pagkain yan siyempre. May ref naman ang sasakyan namin,” he said.
One of the victims was a 3-month-old pregnant teacher from Ludlod High School Leizel Dee.
Seventeen of the victims are being treated in San Jose District Hospital. They are being monitored by health officials
